Hey, thanks for reading. I'm getting a Dell XPS m1210 from someone on this forum. I thought about upgrading the ram if I need to in the future. I know someone selling this RAM for a pretty good price:

    KINGSTON 1GB Module KTD-INSP6000A/1G

    Specs are:
    Standard Warranty Lifetime Limited
    Input Voltage 1.8V DC
    Manufacturer Kingston Technology
    Memory Size 1GB DDR2 SDRAM
    Number of Modules 1 x 1GB
    Form Factor 200-pin SoDIMM
    Manufacturer Part Number KTD-INSP6000A/1G
    Compatibility Dell - Notebook - Inspiron 6000Dell - Notebook - Latitude D410Dell - Notebook - Latitude D610Dell - Notebook - Latitude D810Dell - Notebook - Precision M20Dell - Notebook - Precision M70
    Memory Speed 533MHz DDR2-533/PC2-4200
    Module Configuration 128M x 64
Product Name 1GB DDR2 SDRAM Memory Module
    Error Checking Non-ECC
    Signal Processing Unbuffered
    CAS Latency CL3
    Packaging Type FBGA

Any idea if this would work with the m1210? I looked at another RAM that would work and the specs look identical enough.

    Thanks in advance.

As long as the Dell uses RAM with the same memory speed (533MHz DDR2 / PC2-4200), you should be fine.

There is this guy who sells different types of RAM on this forum I go to. People have bought from him and said the RAM they buy works great. He said it's in perfect condition, so I trust him on that.
