Hey, thanks for reading. I'm getting a Dell XPS m1210 from someone on this forum. I thought about upgrading the ram if I need to in the future. I know someone selling this RAM for a pretty good price:

Specs are:

Any idea if this would work with the m1210? I looked at another RAM that would work and the specs look identical enough.
Thanks in advance.

As long as the Dell uses RAM with the same memory speed (533MHz DDR2 / PC2-4200), you should be fine.

According to this site of compatiblity:

The RAM should work fine. The 1 GB module has identical specs (speed like you mentioned). I appreciate the help jetstar, thanks. -
Yes it should work fine -
CL3? Nice....where are you getting it from?

There is this guy who sells different types of RAM on this forum I go to. People have bought from him and said the RAM they buy works great. He said it's in perfect condition, so I trust him on that.
