Okay first of all, thank you all of you guys for all the informations on this forum, it really helped me a lot.

I heard many complains about Dell's delay on processing order due to Core 2
Duo's insufficient supplies. However I am pretty surprised about Dell's order processing.

I ordered E1505 on 09/15/2006, and they are going to ship in on Tuesday, September 19, 2006. Estimated shipping date was September 25, 2006.

Order Processing: Friday, September 15, 2006
    Pre-production: Friday, September 15, 2006
    In Production:
    Kitting
    Build
    Testing
    Boxing
Shipping Prep: Tuesday, September 19, 2006
Ship Date: Tuesday, September 19, 2006

    These are my spec.

P.S Anybody using similar spec as my E1505 and using Autocad and Photoshop? Does it lag crazy when using those programs? (Thinking about upgrading it to 2GB dual channel later) Sorry if this is a dumb question. I haven't bought any new laptop ever since I got my Sony PCG-8A1R, and it lags CRAZY.

Photoshop tends to be CPU and memory intensive than the GPU. I suppose it will depend on what you are doing in Autocad. It is definitely a bump up from the Sony.

Wow, that's great! I ordered the same day as you did, 9/15, but in the afternoon (my sales rep works the second shift). Maybe mine will ship tomorrow? *fingers crossed*
