    Check that out! I looked at it yesterday and i was still in pre production. This just prooves that they dont update this thing much at all OR that they can build/package/dispatch stuff really quickly in the UK.

    Excellent, i hope i dont get a lousy screen :)

    £710? Wow, I'm like paying double for almost exactly the same thing.

    When did you order?(edit, never mind, I see it in the screenshot) I hope that the quick dispatch for UK applies for my oder too.

    Today is my 8th day at Pre production. My CSR never seems to be at the office for me to check directly (I don't want to contact the others, they try to make me cancel my order and go with them)

    thats amazing... and i almost have the same specs as you but i had to pay £930. The EXACT same thing happened to me

    I ordered 24th... it sucks how they reduce the price a week after i order.

    Anyone know if i can call them to get a discount?

    Also do u know how u can check the status of the delivery with the postal service?

    Status check I think happens through DHL. You should have been provided with an AWB tracking number.

    On your page it says "Packing Slip" Delivery status, maybe it's there.

    hahaha its SO worth the wait. Ive just opened the little box and inside was a small box with all the CDs and paper and power cable. On the bottom was the laptop... 1st impressions is wow this thing is gorgeous!! I never thought jet back would look so good! There is a problem though... it can easily get dirty with fingerprints and ive only touched it and there is a little print on there... its not that heavy, the wuxga screen is so reflective it looks like a mirror! now im just waiting for it to charge!

    another prob, there is some backlight bleed in the bottom right corner of the screen... its not that obvious when u look straight on but from a higher angle u can clearly see it :(
