    I just called his extension
I ordered a laptop about 4 days ago
I asked him his name, and he recognized me by my voice and said hi + my name. I was calling from my friend's house too, so it wasn't caller ID that gave away my identity.

I'm actually really impressed with this guy. After hearing about how bad dell salespeople are, I was just a little shocked.
I'm giving his manager some positive feedback

Yeah, in Malaysia I called the guy up and he recognized what I wanted. I was pretty impressed; then again, it could be my American accent which isn't common in Singaopre or Malaysia ;)

Some have better memory than others, but yes it is nice to have that happen sometimes.

Maybe he was new on the job and the other reps didn't teach him how to be a Dell CSR... :D
