So I ordered a Dell XPS 17 from the Dell website on 11/6 and it said my preliminary ship date was 11/30. This Monday (11/14), I was sent an tracking number (FedEX Ground) through email and it says it's been "delivered" but to my dismay this is not so. It in fact has been delivered several states away and my order status on the Dell website has changed to "delivered" as well. I called customer support and I got on the line with a man from India, I think at least, and he said that the servers were faulty or glitched two days ago, he said that he would call me within 48 hours to help assess the situation better. It's also worth noting that my CC hasn't been charged at all yet and what really has me upset is that I now know absolutely nothing about my laptop, if it's being built, if it's shipped, or if that was actually my laptop that was shipped to another address.
I'm confused as to how the hell this actually happened and I'm actually pretty tech savvy and no one that I know has ever come across a problem with Dell's building and shipping system.
