    Personally, I'd say Yes.

Before I ordered my notebook I was used to using two 19" CRT Monitors both with resolutions of 1600x1200. I love having the extra space, plus i've become so used to high resoliution displays that I find smaller displays extremely cramped and small. The problem is there are a lot of people who find screens with such a high resolution a strain on their eyes, or they just can't see what's on the screen (it's just too small).

Take a look at what resoliution you're using now, and compare it to the largest resolution on your monitor. If you like the larger resolution then i'd suggest you'd strongly consider the upgrade, if you have trouble off the bat, or just plain hate it don't bother - save yourself $25.

you also have a 17" WUXGA, the 6000 has a 15.4" so everything will be smaller

what the hell is wuxgu??? do you mean WUXGA?
What the hell is wsxgu? do you mean WXSGA?

Stay away from WUXGA, with the 6000 most users love the WXSGA the best, its the mid range screen.

I agree with this. The 15.4" screen is just too small to display the WUXGA resolution. This is just my personal preferance but for a 15.4" LCD panel, the WSXGA is probably better.

Used UUXGA on a 15" for 3 years and now WUXGA on a 15.4" for 3 months. Fantastic screens, especially for writing and reading.

You must have 20/0 vision. Wish I did. I had to turn up the DPI a hair on my SXGA+ T42 to make usable for me.
