I like the Inspiron 1525 a lot, except for the fact that it only comes with the X3100!

Is it likely that Dell will sell a version of the 1525 with the X4500 or maybe with some kind of dedicated graphics card?

Dell will almost certainly not sell a 1525 with a discrete GPU. They want you to shell out the extra cash to get an XPS M1530 or stick to the older, chunkier Inspiron 1520 if you want a discrete GPU. The 1525 will probably never see an X4500 either; I'm betting a new model will take it's place when the Centrino 2 platform comes out this summer.

That makes sense, but they could offer a higher end dedicated card in the XPS, and a lower end dedicated card in the inspiron.

The 1520 is also only available with the X3100 on Dell's site.
