    XP Drivers problems with 1520.

    Well,

    I achive dualboot with the laptop and is I desable AHCI controler, I can run XP. But the sound card is not functioning and the videocard (8600M GT) is not enable.

    I need the video card since I'm using a Cad program with XP. Can some one tell me how to enable the AHCI controler in XP and also if some one was a 8600M driver that works in XP.

    I used the information in this thread and I have my 1520 dual booting with all drivers working except the modem sound, which I don't care about since I will never use the modem anyway.

    Page 3 has the most useful post of the thread, the later pages have info on getting the sound to work.
