Can anyone tell me which OS is better on battery life? I can't seem to tell.....

here is what i have thus far

Windwos Ultimate 32 bit running on a separte hard drive .. (I have been swaping hard drives in and out of the computer to avoid alot of re installs)

Windows Vista Ulitmate 64bit seems a tad faster than 32 bit

Windows XP Pro 64 bit.... Cant really tell but the system loads up faster... and it only uses 2.5 gb to install OS where as the Vista 64bit ultimate is taking up 24.3gb...(so much I don't know why can someone tell me)
