    XP Pro w/ or w/out media?

    What is XP Pro with media mean on dells site? should i get with or without media? what you guys recommend?

    XP Pro with media means they ship the reinstall disc.

    I recommend getting the reinstall disc.

    or, someone can correct me if I'm wrong obviously. :p

    XP MCE doesnt come with the CD automaticaly but you can add it to your order cheaply, or phone dell. say the computer crashed and you neeed to install the O/s ^__^ i did and i got my disk the very next day free

    i think it depends on your model... the inspirons require you to buy the reinstallation disc, while the XPS comes with it ( i believe) and the latitude comes with a retail version.
