Ive had a hard time searching for a nice clean set of instructions for installing XP, and Ive began to wonder as to whether it is worth it at all. I meant to use XP for games (I think they will be fatser, due to XP and as they will be the only apps installed there) and Vista for dialy use and work. What say ye? TIA!

Definately worth it. not hard. Basically

right click my computer-click manage-go to storage-right click your drive-click shrink-follow wizard and shrink it-assign it a letter-format it etc...-restart boot from xp disc-install to drive you just created-boot up-install drivers etc-restart-boot from vista disc-press repair-repair it-install a program to fix bootloader...just search google-fix bootloader and your basically done.

Not very hard, i think the program is bootBSD or something im not sure though. See what other people are using.

EDIT: It's called Easy BSD not boot bsd.

My way leaves you with vista and XP....when you start up your computer it will ask you which operating system to boot.

I will upload them to rapid share and you can downlad them from 2 links i will give you if thats easier. whatever you want man.....glad to help

    http://rs22.rapidshare.com/files/907...vers.part1.rar (BAD LINK)

    http://rs339tl2.rapidshare.com/files...vers.part2.rar (BAD LINK)

these were not uploaded by me. They were already on there. I do have them though as well. Downlaod both these links. extract part one then part two. burn the folder to a dvd (also burn easyBSD to the DVD) when you have xp installed just put in the DVD and install all the drivers and your done.
