    Hello.

I was wondering about the XP Pro that Dell offers with their machines.
I would like to be able to use the Pro on more than one machine if I buy it with my Dell.
Basically just to install on my home office machine.
Thing is, I thought I remebered the XP that Dell ships is locked to Dell machines, meaning it cant be installed on other non-Dell machines.
    Is this correct?
If so, I'll probably just buy the retail version.

The last dell desktop I saw a few years ago was that way. I can't imagine they would change that. The OEM version will be cheaper, but you will still have to activate it, meaning it will be locked to that machine.
