I've been havinga few minor niggles with my laptop this month Youtube was dropping 30% of frames at 720+ the my mouse stated playing up. Decided it was about time I did new install/restore.

Selected a restore point form a few weeks ago to see if that would help. On first boot it failed and went into Dells recovery assist. it said it found an issue with boot and fixed it it then booted back into recovery assist. I ran the hardware scan and the boot check and they both came back fine.

Now on boot I get the Dell splash screen but it doesn't mention anything about holding down the f keys to access boot, the circle of dots rotates for a few seconds then it BSOD into windows stop code 0xc000021a.

It then states its collected data gets to 100% restarts and goes back into the boot loop.

I've tried holding down shift and then f8/11/12 whilst it restarts but can't get into advanced boot or uefi, so don't see who i could do a fresh install from USB?

Would removing the hard drive force it to boot to USB
