I've followed a few of the other threads closely, but can't seem to find an answer to my problem. After installing XP Pro, the card reader is the only thing that doesn't work for me.
I've installed the Ricoh chipset drivers for XP Pro from Dell's website, but the thing simply doesn't work.
Whenever I insert my card, absolutely nothing happens. It locks in to place just fine, but never seems to be recognized. I'm expecting it to just appear as another drive. Is there something else I should be doing?
Is there a limitation to the size of the card it will recognize? Mine is 4g, but I wouldn't expect that to be too large.
In device manager, I have no devices with expclamation marks. Everything appears ok. I do see the three Ricoh devices under IDE ATI/ATAPI controllers. I've tried unisntalling those, reinstalling, etc... and it simply doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

Can you try another card?
I have a Toshiba laptop that will not read a card bigger than 4GB.
