Late last night, the LED screen was available in Canada as a free upgrade. Now it's no longer an option online and when I called a rep told me it's also not available by phone. What's up with that? Was anyone able to get the LED screen in Canada?

Also can't upgrade the cpu... Man, us Canadians sure get shafted when it comes to consumer electronics...

Yep, I was up late last night watching the US and Canadia websites, I hope they stabilize their prices and configurations soon.

It is there...here is what you do (or at least what I did)

click on notebook --> XPS --> M1330 --> Hit the Products Tab --> More Details --> Then I chose the model on the right

Can we Canadians order from the US website? Then there isn't a problem.

He's right, I can see the LED option and another CPU choice with the above process.. Weird thing is, the two models show are the same price but the one on the left has 2GB ram, while the one on the right has 1GB. All the other options are the same...

The free LED upgrade is back on the Canadian website, for those of us keeping score at home.

I just ordered an m1330 with a free LED upgrade (but without camera) over the phone. Check the dell.ca website as well- you can configure a free LED upgrade without camera if you choose to customize the M1330 on the right panel.

Yeah you have to watch the dell sites. The Australian one is a maze of confusion with diffrent prices for things on every corner.

Whn I ordered my system on the phone the dell rep told me there was only one base configuration avalible. Which if you just went to teh dell site there was. But if you did some hunting round the dell website was about 9 links to get to it there were 2 more. So i naviagted him to the one i wanted and he was like wow these arn't meant to be here coz there not listed for us. But he went ahead and configured the system though the website just like i could of if ordering online and then after completing teh order loaded it back up and added the extra battery for me (which is why I needed to buy it on the phone).

So yeah all sorts of strange things going on with teh dell sites and priceing and whats avalible :s

The LED display option without webcam has been for the past week or so and still is a free upgrade in Canada. Get it while you can.
