Out of curiosity, does anyone know when dell Canada is going to have a sale on the XPS 1330s? There isn't any coupons for it, nor is there any regular savings where as the Dell USA website has savings of up to $700

You can't bet on any good sales with Dell Canada, they never have deals like the USA site.

The last really good deals that Dell had was back in December with the Vostros.

Yep, it sucks buying consumer products from Canada. Most of the time it's so much more expensive than buying the same product across the border.

If I remember correctly, the deal was something like T5450, 1gb Ram, 120gb HDD, Vista Basic, and it was about $600. Had all the customization options too, so people were getting T7250's, 2gb Ram, 8400 Graphics, etc for less than 900.

Actually thats a not bad deal, but just a week ago the inspiron 1420s were $260 off and you could stack another $100 coupon on top, so that could have been arguably the best deal.

I think you'll be waiting a long time for a sale - granted, the M1330 has dropped in price significantly in Canada since it was released.

Don't necessarily look at the 'savings' amount. Many times they sort of increase the price, then bring it back down a bit lower than the original price with 'massive' savings.
