    XPS 1330 and Slot Loading DVD Drive

    Anyone tried burning any DVD's yet especially Dual Layer?
    Does this drive support burning DVD-R DL as well?

    This drive seems to be the same as on MacBooks which had a lot of problems with discs not burning or being recognized.

    yep works fine with DL, just burned two 360 game a few hours ago :)
    i used verbatim disks via clone CD, they burned @ 2.5x = 35min/disk
    i havent tried burning anything else yet! so i couldnt tell ya how cheaper disks work
