I have a problem, Which I suspect occurs to many DELL XPS 1330 laptops(which have the 8400 graphic card).
During playing a game, old and new, My screen goes black after several minutes.
It happens after 10-60 minutes randomally.
I've searched the Dell USA technical forum and I found the following thread:

    http://www.dellcommunity.com/suppor...p&thread.id=558&view=by_date_ascending&page=1

In this thread, I realized that the problem occurs to many dell users. The problem isn't unique to my laptop. Moreover, Some users reported that
after replacing the MB to the AR04 model (I have the AR01) the problem weres fixed.
In addition, You can see in the thread that the manager , which is a dell's person, admitted in the problem.

I would like to say that this is my second dell laptop. I bought it before 2 months and I have a warranty.
I know that in Israel, I need to give the laptop to the importer's lab, But After I wrote them an E-Mail describing the problem I was told that
they don't recognize the problem. I'm concerned that fixing the problem will take a long time, especially when they aren't familiar with it.

Please help me to solve this problem ! I know 2 more people in Israel which have the same problem !
It can't be that a big firm like dell won't help their customers to solve this exhausting issue.
I like Dell and I've recommended this model to many people, I hope you'll help me.

You'd be surprised at how many large corporations dont really care about you once they have your money! I'm not saying Dell are on of them, but I'm just stating that some large companies are like that!

And have you checked to see what temp the CPU/GPU are reaching? Download SpeedFan (google it), and check to see what kind of temps the CPU is reaching when under load!

Also try SP2004 Orthos Edition (extract with WinRAR or similar and run the .exe), which will simply max out your CPU, and while its running have SpeedFan running along side it and keep an eye on the temp!

Let it run for at least 10 minutes, then report back what temps your getting!

If I was the only one who has this problem so I guess I won't write it down in this forum. But since I've seen this problem is very popular among 1330's users I guess it's very important to notice all the buyers and the potential buyers.
As you can see in the link below, Many users have this problem. It's not a temp problem. I've tried the SpeedFan and beleive me, it's not a temp problem. It can't be that this is a ommon problem but I haven't heard of it from any swebsites or even dell themeselves only from Dell's forum and as I can see, this is a very widespread.

I'll be very glad to hear from users which have the same problem. Anyway, I somone knows what's the solution I'll be very grateful. Thanks.

Call dell and use your warranty. What is happening is system failure.
