Have any of the members here experienced that the screen brightness on a LED backlit 1330 will not return to full brightness after recovering from sleep mode while running on battery? When my system goes into and then out of sleep mode (without the AC adapter attached) the system is in Power Saving mode and although I attempt to ramp up the back light intensity there is no change. The screen intensity bar shows that it is increasing but there is no change and the intensity appears to be stuck in Minimum intensity mode. If I connect the AC adapter then brightness jumps back to Max intensity.

    Thanks in advance

Sorry, I forgot about the USB error. If I shut off the WiFi for any length of time and then turn it back on I often get a USB device error indicating that a USB device cannot be found.
    Thanks again

I had that screen brightness thing happen to me before. It was on my 2nd m1330 before the motherboard was replaced. It only happened once, but that was because I put the computer to sleep by accident. I just shut it down since it boots so fast (like 10 seconds.)

So the simple solution, don't sleep. You're lucky it doesn't hang while trying to go to sleep :p.

Make sure you check the BIOS setup - it has adjustable default brightnesses for mains and battery modes.
