    XPS 1330 standard display vs LED

    Does anyone know how close the XPS 1330 standard display is in quality compared to the LED display? I played with a 1330 at a Dell kiosk and the display was pretty nice but I'm pretty sure it was the standard display. The salesperson at the kiosk didn't know either.

    The quality should be basically the same. The LED is brighter and the colors more vibrant.
    I chose the LED because I wanted a brighter screen and lighter laptop.
    Although now that I think about it, I don't think it was worth the $300.
    My laptop could've been a lot cheaper if it weren't for the led screen...

    While its slightly brighter and a tiny bit thinner, its not worth the premium you have to pay for it. (as of now). In a year or so when prices drop on them it will be more worth it.
