I have had this isssue from the beginning but now this is annoying me since i dont always have with me a external mouse.

Any soloution? I have tried to update to the latest Dell touchpad drivers without luck.

External mouse is an Logitech Nano (also got the newest Setpoint drivers installed)

The SetPoint drivers are exactly your problem. Delete KHALMNPR.EXE from your registry Run key.

Another options: just go into setup startup and uncheck both logitech setpoint boxes. that will keep setpoint from starting when you boot. It will not reset your touchpad settings. Then when you plug in your mouse, it'll start up setpoint. But for some reason it's only when setpoint starts on startup that it resets the touchpad.

I had this problem and it's fixed now.
