Hey guys,
I just got my XPS 1330 and I want to upgrade it to 64bit Vista. I have a home premium 64bit Vista cd but the cd key is already in use. Is there still a way to install the 64bit on my XPS 1330 with this cd? Thanks!
Regards,
mikal

I have M1330 also. In order to preserve my warranty, I pulled the hard drive and put a new hard drive in and then did clean install of 64bit Vista. Some f the drivers are hard to find. But I eventually found everything. BTW... cheapest way to get software from Microsoft is to subscribe to TechNet. You get access to all Microsoft's software for $499 a year (I think that's what I pay). You can download anything you want and you get software keys on line.

The key on the bottom of your machine should work fine. If it gives you the cd key is already in use message, call up microsoft and tell them that you are just reinstalling. They will give you a new activation key.
