    Hi,

I have a XPS15 L501X and the HD has just died.

I'm looking to replace it with a new SSD, I have one in my desk top but I didn't install it.

Would either of these be suitible replacements:

    or

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-CT2...773&sr=1-20&keywords=laptop+solid+state+drive

I have read that they can be a little tricky to setup, is that true?

I moved house recently and can't find my original disks for my laptop; is there anywhere I can leagally download windows 7 Home Prem and use the product key on the back of my laptop to activate it?

    Thanks for any help

    Tom
