XPS 1530 /w Penryn now available for US customers!

The T9300 is now available on Dell Canada.

But get this - a 6-cell battery is not. Only the 9-cell bricks. Unless you order the PRODUCT (Red) edition.

Hopefully this will change soon. The chat representative confirmed this, but I haven't tried phoning a rep yet.

Hi! I just bought the 1530 today - yea! This forum has been so helpful.

For those looking for the EPP discount, I was able to get 12% off (in addition to the $599 discount) by going through the Borders Rewards Perks link. It's free to sign up as a Borders member, and then you can access their Perks page -- http://www.bordersrewardsperks.com/ and type in Dell as the vendor. If you click through the link, the 12% (or this goes down to 6% off depending on the dollar amount of your order) will be applied automatically.

BTW I placed the order yesterday but wanted to change a few things so called today, and I thought by getting CS on the phone I'd get all of these extra bells and whistles. I'm a long-time Dell user and that's happened to me in the past. But no, he was happy to cancel my order and didn't even want to walk me through the new order. Oh well.

These are my specs. Ship date of 3/27, so we'll see. If anyone thinks any of these components are a waste, please let me know!
