    Hey.

I was playing Fear last night for the first time and had a few questions.

    1. My computer just crashed after about 30 min in, I know the graphics card I have is more than powerfull enough, so do I need to update my driver, and could someone please send me a link, as I tried doing it from Laptop2go but had no idea which one was stable or what I really needed.

    2. I find it very difficult to use the Laptop for gaming, And dont have much space, I know I might be swearing here but does anyone use a joystick. As I have no Idea were I would put a mouse, as I like playing on my couch.

If anyome could help me that would be so so cool.

    Peace out!

Just use the Dell approved drivers first and see if those crash. Or you can go to the laptopvideo2go forums and look for the most recent 169 driver for Dell. I believe I have that one and it worked the best.

Mice are always gonna be the best way to play games, if you play on the couch, get a stand or something to put next to you to hold a mouse. Get a laser mouse if you use weird surfaces, because they work on practically any hard, nonreflective surface

You could get the Dell approved 174.31 driver. Just take it from the drivers page for the Inspiron 1520 on the Dell site.

    Thanks guys.

I dont have an inspiron 1520, so not sure if that will help.

Also just bought a Logitech VX Nano, looks cool and got a good price so hopefully that will improve my gaming.

My point is that you can download it from the Inspiron 1520 drivers page and run it perfectly OK on your XPS 1530. I did it a few days ago with no problems and immediately got a 300 point jump in my 3Dmark score.

Installed the Dell 174 driver on my 1700 and CoD4 seemed to be far less smooth. Back to 169.28 which runs great. Anone else seen that or have better performance with the 174?

    Hey

Seems ok my desktop icons have moved position but apart from that all ok.

Can I ask a stupid question.

I got a T8300 penryn Processor but it seems like it is going slower than my desktop.

Is there anyway of telling if my system is running at top peak.

Its little things like page loading and transfer rates ect..

    Thanks.
