Has anyone ordered a XPS 1530 in Hong Kong?
How long does it usually take to arrive after ordering?

    Thanks in advance! :)

I live in HK but i am still waiting for the price to drop. I brought a Dell desktop before and i can say the delivery is quite fast. It was around the estimated date but it was a long time ago so i can't remember the details.

I am gonna wait still its around 12000 HKD now which is way more expensive than in the US.

i think the price is about the same...unless if my computation is wrong. the base specs of the hong kong XPS 1530 higher than its US counterpart....hence, the higher price tag. if you configure the US version to the same specs (T7500, 256MB Nvidia GT, RAM) as the HK version, it'll cost more. (tax/shipping not included)

anyways, i'm really interested in buying an XPS 1530 to replace my hp dv9207us. i emailed HK customer service and they said that it would take 6 days (after payment) to process it. customer service also mentioned that they have numerous showrooms in HK but would still take the same amount of time to process the order.

i guess i'll be needing to order this in advance since i'll be visiting hong kong for 4 days.

The price for the notebook has stayed pretty constant in the past months :( , is there any sign that there wil be any major discounts soon?

Has anyone found any E-coupons for this lappy?

The price actually went up slightly in the last few months. I got my Vostro 1400 in August with better video and CPU but less memory and HD capacity then the current deal at about the same price. The video and CPU upgrade are much more expensive than the memory and HD capacity.
