Im having a problem with office 07. Many times I open it, and it just crashes. According to Vista, its the bluetooth thats interfering with it. Ive got it turned off, but the problem persists. It is up to date. HELP!

sometimes its not enough if you just turn bluetooth off. You have to disable the send to bluetooth option.... and there is a reg key edit that you can make as well... let me find the that link from my bookmark.

Here >> from one of my bookmarked links..

    First try this -

Click "start" - the button down left to your screen
    Select "run" and type "regedit".
Click OK. The Registry Editor opens in a window.
In the registry editor locate the following:

H_KEY, LOCALMACHINE, SOFTWARE, MICROSOFT, OFFICE, EXCEL, ADDINS, BtOFFICEAddin.BtOFFICEIntegration.1

Under label "Name" there should be a line: "Lodbehavior". Now in the same line under "Type" there should be REG_DWORD" and under "Data" there should be "0x0000003 (3)" or something similar as far as the last digit is concerned (in this case 3). Behold, you are close to the solution... Change the last digit AND the one in brackets (in my case 3) to read 0! In my case under "Data" now reads "0x0000000 (0)". That's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twisted Evil
Close the registry editor and restart the computer.

    **** OR try this ****

For all thouse who didn't find out howto work this out in the prewious posts
    follow these steps(Office 2007:

    1. Open Excel from start menu.
    2. Click the Office symbol in top left corner, hit Excel options.
    3. Click "Add-Ins", then choose COM Add-Ins from dropdown menu in bottom of
    your window and click Go.
    4. Mark the line with Bluetooth in it, and click remove.

The problem should be solved now. If not try Microsoft Support.

This gives u some tips on disabling something in excel, but I dont know how, it had a full effect on complete office when I tried this... so check it out...

THAT was to give you a quick thing to try... BUT, please post such topics in the appropriate forum > which is the Windows OS and Support. Thanks :) :)
