    Is the XPS 1530 similiar to an inspirion the same way the older 17" XPS was basically an E1705 with a better graphics card and LEDs?

    I'm not sure myself but Dell might have a comment towards that. Something along the lines "easiest way to more money, by doing very little to get it". lol

    To get back to the M1530 vs Inspiron issue... you have to admit that the 1530's design is pretty sweet though...
    The low screen rez is the only thing dragging it down right now... Even at 1280x800 it's a nice machine...
    should be fixed soon hopefully.
