    Anyone have this on their xps m1530. When it is plugged in and you run your finger tips up and down the aluminum palmrest, you can a feel static/electric field?

    Not mine. at least so far. my baby is 36 hours old.
    But I read a thread 3-4 days ago about someone saying the same thing.. you should search it and see if they come to an answer..

    It is a 2 prong A/C adapter. It might not be grounded properly?

    Yes, I believe that is the issue.

    Some sony users with brushed metal palm rest said they solved the same problem with a three prong adapter.
