I was told by a Dell rep that none of the Vista Ultimate options on the XPS 1530 comes with 64-bit Vista. Is this accurate?

If so, why is this the case?

Are there other laptop makers that offer this option? Again, if yes, why would Dell not make available 64-bit Vista for laptop users?

Only barebones & HP (not even sure if it's them but I think yes) offer X64 vista, and that only if you customize 4GB of RAM with them.
