    I need to upgrade from my flimsy macbook to a gaming machine that is portable. I am looking at the XPS 1530, along with the alienware 15x, but am having trouble deciding. So, thought I'd come to a DELL thread and see what you have to say about the XPS and how it would hold up and compare to the AW.

    You can get better graphics in the alienware however it comes at a cost. Also remember that dell owns alienware.
