Has anyone with grainy LCD problem replaced it with new one by a technician ? was it scratch free operation?

I have just set up to do that with dell. they will send me a new one with a pesron to replace it. I told the techsupport chat that if he f*** up I will be sending the laptop back for exchange.
the only reason I chosed this over an exchange because I'm afraid of getting one with a diffrent problem. I already like this one, no noice, heat or other issues.

I do it myself, so it is scratch-free operation. I don't know about the technician. If he gentles on your laptop. You should be fine.

The technician came to replace mine today, the screen still is grainy. [Another samsung] but he claimed it was normal for laptops and so is the 'white cloud' at the bottom of the screen when watching DVDs. The top of my lid specifically the left corner where the top and front of the lid snap together, has a small silver line now [paint chip maybe?]. Also the lid was all dirty afterwards with fingerprints and random things from the table so I used a washcloth with cold water, and gently wiped it down, all the dirt went away, but so did the top of my e in dell.

EDIT: My keyboard drives me crazy, but i had this problem before the tech came
