    Hi all,
so I read the thread here about the google power adapter working for the Dell XPS on an airplane. I am wondering has anyone else had experience with using the notebook with a power adapter on an airplane and which one worked? I normally fly transatlantic with Air Bus A330 (Aer Lingus) and the last time I flew I brought the latest Yoga 910 which seemed to power intermittently during the flight, I presume a lot of people were using power?

Thoughts, advice on flying with this laptop, it looks like the internal battery will give me around 6 hours of local movie playback, the companion 18000 mah power power could also be an option but I think it would only add an extra two hours to the XPS runtime plugged into it?

My Precision M5510 will run happily under light to moderate CPU loading (no dGPU running) from a standard Dell 65W PSU with the DC plug adaptor. I've used this when travelling in order to reduce the overall weight but it would also mean no risk of overloading the plane's power outlet. However, I wouldn't try using a notebook of this size in cattle class unless the seat in front is empty.
