For those of you that have been "in the game" longer than I have, are those nice 25% off coupons for $1499+ XPS builds often available?
The ones listed now apparently expire in two days; just wondering if I really need to hurry up and buy this thing.
Thanks.

Yeah the coupons tend to come and go rather regularly. If you are really patient you can hop on a killer deal, I think one was around 40% off IIRC. There have been two sales like that in the past six months. The price is fairly stable even with the coupons since the prices of components tend to move around. Also, take a look in the Outlet. You can find a comparative machine for a decent discount and pair it with a 15% off coupon for an excellent deal. I got a $1800 M1330 once for $1050 shipped.

It appears that I can swing about 4% off an XPS through Dell University. Is this in addition to 25% off or any other coupon? -
The_Observer 9262 is the best:)
It should be in addition. But I think EPP has more discounts, but hard to find a EPP coupon.

The coupons usually specify Home & Home Office store use only. Which kind of sucks if you have access to Dell University. However, I would configure a machine in both stores because sometimes the Dell Univ. configuration is cheaper with certain features so it depends on what you are looking for.

If you have a Dell coupon for a good deal, and it is near expiration...and have found what you want, I would suggest you use it.
Before it either expires, or maxe's out -
Yup they release a new coupon once every 2 weeks and they usually end in like 3 days after they release it because there is a limit of 1000 uses and alot of people wait for it..
I got a $2000 machine for $1283.48 shipped.. -
yeah, and it's also harder to find UK coupons... of course, the notebook review ones don't work as they are US.

I ordered an $1813 machine for $1480 or so shipped. Not nearly as impressive, but it's got some nice hardware in it, so we'll see.
