    XPS M1210 DVD Skip

    I just recently got the XPS M1210 and whenever I try to play a DVD I get terrible skipping and slowed picture like the machine can't handle it. The laptop has 2gb of ram and all that good stuff so its not like it can't handle it. Any help would be appreciated before I resort to going to dell

    update your video drivers also make sure you don't have to much stuff running in the background

    I had same problem. I reinstalled windows then dvd worked fine and computer performed better, something to consier.
