    XPS M1210 LCD Response

    just got a m1210. if i close and open the lcd fast the screen is black and the only way to fix it is to FN+F8 for the external display change, now I dont' have any other display connected to this laptop ever and device manager it says I have 3 monitors 2 default and one plug and play I'm thinking that one is the lcd, svideo, and d-sup. my lcd is toshiba LCD58E BTW any help?

    Are there any options that the computer switches to a blank screen when the lid is closed?maybe its in windows or bios.
