I have had my m1210 for about three months now. I am currently travelling through China with it. It's great. I am sitting in a coffee shop posting this message. It is a tough computer, good for travelling. It is a little heavier than I thought it would be, but I, too, am liking it more and more. The screen size is great and, man, is it powerful!

I have had my c2d m1210 for 3+ months now. Its perfect. Small size, great power & great looks. I love this lappy. Have no second thoughts about it.
Even if i get to spend 2500$ i'd still go for this baby (or maybe the m1710!) -
I bought a loaded one just before the 2 series came out. Got 2gb ram, 7200 rpm drive etc.
It runs well no complaints. The screen is hard to see at time because the size but it makes a perfect mini desktop.
Speed and everything are decent. With the go 7400 it plays games but I have not tired any hardcore style games yet.
9 Battery lasts ages on that thing. Really good for chatting it up while drinking your coffee. -

3 months- Praise
-PORTABLE, the whole reason of getting a laptop
-POWERFUL, this baby can run anything
-CUTE, yup, it attracts all the ladies
-lol, i seriously love this lil guy
complaints
-my battery is already 50% wear(9cell) -
had mine for about 2 months now, nothing but smiles!
-extremely portable compared to other notebooks with similar power/features
- screen is very bright and clear
- option for geforce 7400!
only downside, my 9cell battery's wear is already at 25% after 2 months -
I mostly have no complaints for this laptop, seems to work very well, and nicely supports Vista with most of the drivers already built in (including bluetooth).
My biggest complaint has to do with the LAN connection, and that it's only 100Mbits. Just absolutely awful on how they didn't just put in a gigalan chip. I didn't even know it was possible to buy 100Mb chips anymore -
Iceman0124 More news from nowhere
My m1210 is the best laptop I have personally ever seen or used, the amount of power in regards to its size, portability, and price is unmatched by anything else out there.

Everything is great except I am getting some weird high pitch noise lately. Somebody got their motherboard replaced and seems to be fine. I guess I have to do that also. Anyone got a ear plug for me?

praise:
fast
decent graphics card
small size
good battery life with 9 cell
cons:
crappy vertical viewing angles
way too thick -
I have had mine since June and love it. I have the 2ghz core duo with 1.5GBram 60GB HDD and nvidia 7400. It is speedy, portable, and the 12.1" is great when I am on the go. When at the office I connect it to a CRT as it has replaced my desktop. I can take the laptop apart and put it back together in under 15 mins. I do a bit of light gaming. Fear and Prey ran pretty well. Doom 3 ran great at medium to high settings. The only con I have is the barely noticable scratches it developed under the screen (not due to abuse others have noticed it as well).
I do think however if I was to buy something today it would be the ASUS A8JP. Better video card thats about it.
