    Hi all,

I have a piece of SD card lying around and decide to stick it in the slot reader permanently as a secondary storage. But everytime the lappy comes back from standby mode, the SD card gone missing. The only way to detect it again is to pull it out and in again. Do you guys experienced the same? Also, noticed that I can't see the SD card in Disk Management in both detected or undetected situation. Ain't all storage device you can see in My Computer should be there too? Maybe someone kind enough to test it with their system?

    Thanks.

Did you try refreshing My Computer? F5 for that.

My SD card and Mobile Hard Drive sometimes don't show up, and if I hit F5 while at My Computer, it shows up.

    Hope this helps.

    :)

Tried that just now but no success. It seems that we found a bug but with unidentified ownership. Do your SD card show up in Disk Management section?

Mine isn't listed in the SD section either. Try reinstalling your ricoh drivers (located in chipset section of support.dell.com)

Good to know that. I've tried uninstall the driver via device manager and reboot. Windows did detect and reinstall the driver but prob still there. Maybe I'll reinstall the driver this time. On my way to Dell driver download page..
