I've had my XPS M1210 for a few weeks now and think its great, but am getting really irritated with the screen resolution which keeps changing.

I set it to 1280 x 800, and want it to stay as such, but once or twice each day it changes on its own to 1024 x 768. There does not appear to be a pattern as to when it changes.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, Max.

That is strange. Mine never does that. It has to be caused by some program or a driver issue. If it happens randomly then try upgrading your VGA drivers. You can get the latest moded nVidia drivers from laptopvideo2go.

Are you playing a game that might change your resolution?

I've been finding that mine does the same things, and always when it comes out of a hibranation mode.
