Does anyone know if the Roxio Creator MyDVD Combo LE and Integrated Asound Blaster Audigy Advanced HD Audio programs that ship with a dell computer are compatable with Windows Vista?
Thanks in advance for your help.

They have to work be because Dell is giving you a free upgrade to Vista if you purchased your m1210 on or after sometime in October.

OK - I am not sure I agree with that logic - but I guess it can't hurt if I try to install them. Anyone else have any advice?

Yes They should be -
Iceman0124 More news from nowhere
they should all be supported by the time vista officially launches, whether or not there will be some monster bugs to squash, well, I'd strap on my roach stompers

There's a lot of worry about 'X' and 'y' possibly not working and my experiance is that in the main Vista can get most things up and running with its own bundled drivers. This in on a desktop machine and not my M1210 I might add. I've a Vista upgrade coming from Dell and very confident all will be wellCan always go back to XP for a while if required?

I will install them tonight and let you all know - all of my other stuff works so I am confident that this stuff should work as well!

I tried RC1 AND RC2 and each time my Sonic MyDVD 6 DID work. In the beginning, I could not get Nero to work (new versions now do), but only Sonic worked...as long as you didn't install the packet writing software.

Talked to Dell Tech Support and the Audigy software does not work. The roxio stuff - they were not sure - but Vista supports burining DVD's so what do you gain with the Roxio stuff?
