    Hi,

I currently shopping for a laptop. My main concerns are heat and noise.
I read that the M1210 could get really hot with the dedicated graphics card.
Anyone has a M1210 with the integrated graphics that could inform me on the heat/noise and battery life of their machine?

    Thank you!

I'd imagine there would be less heat with integrated graphics. I've read nothing about there being noise with the go7400.
I opted for the go7400 to make sure i could easily take advantage of all capabilities of Vista. I don't game. I might try a couple games just because i can though.

Choosing the 5400rpm HD instead of the 7200rpm would generate less heat, especially in the thin and light M1210.

It would generate less heat but it will still run pretty hot
