A few other goodies about the specs on this little beast for ya...

*2 different chipset options: 1) Intel 945PM Express w/ on-demand Go 7400 256MB DDR Turbocache or 2) just the 945PM integrated. The only bad thing is that this card is sortuva sheep in wolf's clothing, in that it takes up to 192MB from system RAM, i.e. it's basically a 64MB card.

    *Can handle up to 4GB o' DDR2 so-dimm SDRAM (533 or 667MHz)

*As far as ports go, according to what the Japanese actually says (i.e. NOT machine translation), it's got :
    1 internal modular modem jack
    1 internal network connector
    1 headphone/speaker jack
    1 mic jack
1 VGA out port (is this what you're referring to as DVI?)
    4 USB 2.0 slots
    1 1394a port (4-pin)
    1 S-video out jack
1 Express card slot (no PCMCIA slot, and no specifics on x-card slot size)
1 5-in-1 card slot (memory stick, memory stick pro, SD, MMC, xD)

Available in 2 flavors of dual core goodness, either 1.66 or 2.0GHz.

This may just be my next laptop! :)

edit: Took another look at the PDF listed above, and while it mentions DVI in the port section, if you
scroll down near the bottom on the same page where it has the left/right/rear side photos there's no
    mention of a DVI port.

Also, as shown at the very bottom right of page 2, this is the 1.0 version of the pamphlet that was no doubt made
back in April or maybe even March, so some of the specs have obviously changed, i.e., on the Dell Japan website,
there's no option for a Celeron M CPU, you have to pay for either McCaffe or Virus Buster (i.e. no option for just a
trial of McCaffe), low end RAM is set @ 512MB (256x2) and high end @ 4GB (2GBx2), no 40 or 60 gig HDD available
(available options: 80GB@5200/7200RPM, 100GB@5200/7200RPM, and 120GB@5200RPM only), no CD-RW/DVD combo
drive option (DVD+/-RW Dual Layer only), etc.

The Go 7400 or the integrated is basically 64MB? If so the Vaio SZ actually has the better card since it's 128MB... which stinks if true.

Sorry to disappoint everyone, but the M1210 does not have a DVI port. Go to the page below and you will see that the M1210 is equipped with a simple VGA port.
