Well because I will be going into college next year I get a discount with Dell for buying a laptop. If i spend under 1600 i get 8% off and if I spend over 1600 i get 12% off. I configured it first without the LED screen and with only a 9 cell battery, and the price comes out to 1419.88( I got 8% off). I then went back and configured it to have the LED screen and a 6 cell and a 9 cell battery, this put me over the 1600 and gives me the 12% discount. The price on that came out to 1548.22. My question is, is the screen worth spend the 128.34 more on the laptop. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Patience is a virtue. Wait until you do go to college. The laptops then will be much better (well, that's a given =D)

And for the record, I believe that the LED screen is worth the upgrade. But honestly, the current deal for the M1330 isn't as good as last month when they offered the $200 gift card and the ability to downgrade the RAM and processor, on top of returning the warranty and LoJack.

By May or June, the entire game will change with the Montevina and GPU refreshes. So sit tight.

Yes, I know things will be changing, I just want to have different ideas going around my head for the next six months. Call me crazy, but It shouldn't hurt to be thinking and looking for six months, even if things will change.
