I recently received my M1330, and it's not so bad thus far. Still not used to trying to use a notebook as my primary computer instead of the rather powerful desktop I've got, but I'm trying it.

I want to set up Bitlocker. For those of you that have done this, did you just run the Bitlocker drive prep tool and go from there? Did that affect your recovery partition? Other than the unfortunate lack of a TPM, is there anything I should know?

    Thanks.

What does a TPM Chip do?

I'm very curious about the BitLocker and does it work fine on the 1330?

Trusted platform module. Think of it like a hardware fingerprint of sorts; Wikipedia has a pretty good explanation.

    Anyway, any reports/help on this?
