Well not really but to be honest reading all the posts about XPX M1330 inferior displays is sort of putting a damper on the expectation of receiving it. I have an almost 2 year old Sony SZ which has a gorgeous display and it isn't even an LED which I thought was supposed to be superior to LCD. I was thinking of canceling, today would probably be my last day as it's supposed to ship by 1/31 and I know that is an estimate.
This will be my first Dell and I hope it's a good experience. One question, if I go ahead with it and I do get a display I'm not happy with I know Dell would send a tech to replace it which I absolutely do not want, I've seen what some of these third party so called techs can do. Will Dell replace the whole machine and if they will do they wait until getting it back before sending out the replacement?

Dell will replace the whole machine. They do not wait until getting the current system back, there is a chance you will have both systems at the same time so you can compare and send back the worse one, or both.

And your right about the Dell techs, atleast in my experience when they came to replace my grainy 1520 screen he scratched the plastic all around the keyboard with his screwdriver, they are just so careless and rough.
