    XPS M1330 speakers not working

    hi, i recently received my new XPS M1330, and i love it except one thing. for the life of me i cannot make the speakers work. i've updated the drivers etc etc no no avail. any ideas?

    Does the sound work if you use headphones?

    yes it does, its just the speakers that are the problem

    I know by now you must have solved the problem..

    I just had my right speaker give out. Left one's working fine. Both headphone jacks are good too.
    I think the speakers are not of quality make. What did you do about yours?
    I'm about to call tech support..

    tech support call is in ur near future fitzy... LOL yeah ur speakers are probably dead. if u just got it, i would return it and get a refund and get a different laptop likethe sony netbooks or a macbook.
