I just received my recent order of a Dell XPS M1330 with WLED screen. This came as a replacement to a CCFL screen that was mistakenly sent to me. First thing I did was compare the two screens...

Much to my surprise and disappointment, the LED screen really did not appear brighter than the CCFL screen (and certainly not 36% brighter as advertised by Dell). I looked at the pictures from the "definitive comparison" thread in this forum and indeed the two screens appear similar on these pictures too.

What concerns me is that at minimum brightness the LED screen is barely legible while the CCFL screen is still very legible. Do any of you know if this is a defect on my screen or the way it should be? Since the LED is 36% brighter, I would have expected it to do much better at low brightness levels... which is definitely not the case here. Thanks for any suggestions and help!
