Does anyone know why my sceen periodically warps? I have no idea how to describe it, the best way i can describe it is when you turn on an old tv, it has that strange set of horizontal lines of a distorted picture. My lcd does that for an extremely short amount of time. I don't know if it's normal for a laptop, but if it doesn't, does anyone know what to do to remedy for it?

Sounds like it could be a loose connection to the monitor. Or it is a monitor issue in and of itself. Call Dell and have them come out and fix it. :p
