Could anyone tell me how I can boot from external USB hard disk?
I do not see the boot option when I press F12
I have USB storage before internal HDD in my boot order and I just see a flash of the grub in my external HDD but it goes to my internal hard disk for booting.
Also is there a way to boot off the SD card?
Please advice

Hmm I have my OpenSUSE 10.3 in my External HDD bro and it just boots fine
Here is what i did
1. As Vista is already installed , i made sure that Suse is installing its Boot Loader in the Boot Partition not in the MBR
2. Then i went into Vista and used to EasyBCD to create a entry for SUSE linux .. Voila it boots
I Hope this is somewhat useful to you mate -
