Well, I had a great experience with Dell. Recently, I've been having issues with my HDD. I've had a lot of bad sectors, and because of that Service Pack 1 wasn't installing. It's also been running extremely hot.

I called the XPS service line, the guy was an American, he was very helpful, I told him the symptoms, he agreed that I had a bad hard disk. They sent me a new HDD with next-business day shipping.

The best part? My old HDD was a 160GB 5400RPM. The new one was 200GB 7200RPM. Hells yes.

Sweet...nice to hear that went well.

For future reference, if you ever think there are bad sectors back up your data to another drive immediately. You're lucky you (hopefully) didn't lose any data.
